Peter Silowan is an award winning photographer known for his high school senior portraits, family portraits, corporate portraits and architectural and interior photography for real estate firms and interior designers. Silowan Photography has been creating portraits in the Braintree and South Shore area for four decades. Silowan provides his portraits for real estate sales people, attorneys, dentists, bankers and for other varied business people for publication, ads and social network pages.

Peter started his career as a sports and candid photographer supplementing that work with wedding photography and did photojournalism for the Quincy Patriot Ledger. He also taught photography at both Weymouth High School and Braintree High School. Silowan Photography is best known throughout the South Shore for his creative family portraits but especially for senior pictures with his signature lighting and vibrant portraits. Peter and his wife, Linda who is a professional make­up artist, work together to make senior high school pictures a fun and exciting summer experience for students before going into their senior year in high school. Silowan Photography provides portraits and photographs for many clients listed below. One of the high points of Peter's career was photographing the Consecration of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church which only very few people get to experience closely.

As well as professional portraits Peter has recently entered into the area of fine art photography creating fine art prints with his HDR art prints that are available either through his web site or by appointment at Silowan Photography in Braintree. His art prints can be seen on the web page of “Photographic Art.” Again as an adjunct to his portraiture Silowan has branched out into the field of indoor and outdoor architectural photography working for interior designers. Silowan Photography is located in a grand old mansion with several great outdoor locations that are perfect for high school seniors. Silowan is a past President of the Massachusetts Professional Photographers Association.
